Goodbye 2024! 2024 was another great year for Rhythmic Roots Music Services, LLC! As always, thanks to all of the clients and community providers that I connect with that make my job so amazing.
Here is what I shared on social media:
“Happy New Year! As we head into a new year, I like to reflect on all the achievements of the previous year. Thank you for your support in helping make these things happen! In 2024, Rhythmic Roots:

🟢Hosted its 3rd annual holiday student recital at @brew_ability
🟢Started a new Meowsic & Meditation Group at the @teddycatcafe
🟢Continued providing individual music lessons and music therapy
🟢Co-hosted 4 quarterly pet loss support groups with @the_singing_rainbow
🟢Led music groups at different organizations and sensory friendly concerts in the community
🟢Played marimba at Dirt Coffee
🟢Participated in resource fairs in the community, including the @autismcommunitystore and @fairmountpetloss Fur-Ever Fest!
🟢Continued being a member of @co_neurodiversity_cc and of @guidingbrightmind , supporting neurodiversity in Colorado
Rhythmic Roots also donated to and fundraised for several non-profits, including @friendsofbroomfield and @afspcolorado Chapter. Thank you again for all your support in helping make these achievements possible and for supporting my small business! Wishing you the best in 2025!”
Last year’s word was “Hope,” which I felt like I needed going into 2024 and in many ways still feel like I need it going into 2025. I think that Rhythmic Roots manifested “Hope” as best as it could in the services I provided to the community and the intention that became stronger by the end of the year of leading groups with the goal of cultivating resilient joy.
While I still think hope is needed and will continue to be a value at Rhythmic Roots, I have decided to move forward with a new word this year: “Gumption.” This word resonates with me in a way where I want to have the confidence, courage, and initiative to serve the community and my clients as well as look as what music could be created and stepping up to realize the dreams of Rhythmic Roots. I am excited for what is to come this year and hope to have the gumption needed. Happy New Year!
